The Triennial of Self-Taught Visionary Art is an international exhibition which is organized by the Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art (MNMA) (Jagodina, Serbia) beginning at 2016 as the continuation of Salon (1970-1980) and Biennial (1981-2013) traditionally known MNMA events since 1970. For the 2nd. Triennial of Self-Taught Visionary Art competition, 145 artists with 660 works signed from 32 countries were enrolled as potential participants. The Jury was made up of renowned Art Brut and Outsider Art specialists with John Maizels (founder and editor of Raw Vision Magazine, United Kingdom) as the President and including: Vladimir Abakumov (founder and director of Art Brut – Outsider Art Centre, Montenegro), Mario del Curto (multimedia artist and member of the Advisory Committee for La Collection de l'Art Brut Lausanne (Switzerland), Nina Krstić (director of the MNMA), Ivana Jovanović (senior curator of the MNMA), and Nina Ljubomirović (curator of the MNMA). The Jury selected 164 works done by 70 artist from 20 countries. For the first time, Cuban artists were selected for this event and one of them: Josvedy Jove Junco, was awarded the Purchase Award.
